Reclaiming my lost UK identity (Part V): Reunited and it feels so good!

It came! I have it! Its here! After endless delays, I have my UK passport! Not the 48 page one I asked for but the 30 page version, but ach! Details! I HAVE MY FULL UK PASSPORT!!!!

Ye hah! I can travel again!

And as I have been discovering over the last few weeks, quite frankly, the passport seems to carry more weight than any other form of ID you have… Despite actually having my birth certificate, and producing it on numerous occasions, I have only once had someone grab it and check it.

So, I STRONGLY recommend you do NOT loose your passport or put yourself in a positioin to have your passport stolen people! I have swumg to the punk/bogan end of things now with heavy duty chains attaching my passport case and purse to myself for those days I travel. Well, actually, the purse is on the chain all the time now… I don’t know if my passports were stolen or lost (certainly stolen at the end of the day) but I want to minimise that in the future!

Reunited and it feels so good…. 😀
